Gianyar - Sukawati, Monday (28/7/2025) The 125th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program in 2025 continues to have a positive impact on the community, especially in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. One of the flagship projects is the construction of a 1,241.42-meter Farm Road (JUT), with a width of 0.6 to 1.2 meters and a thickness of 10 cm, complete with primary water channels divided into four types. This JUT connects Banjar Penida and Banjar Lantangidung, and is a vital access for local farmers.
The presence of the TMMD in this village has received appreciation from various groups, including the traditional leader and head of Lantangidung Traditional Village, Drs. I Wayan Sujana. In his statement, he expressed his gratitude and thanks for the TNI's tangible contribution to village development, particularly in the agricultural sector.
"As a traditional leader, I've seen the impact firsthand. This road has been a huge help to our farmers. This isn't just a physical development, but also a tangible form of strengthening the community's economy," said Drs. I Wayan Sujana.
According to him, the construction of the JUT not only facilitates access to agricultural product transportation, but also strengthens relations between the TNI and indigenous communities.
The Commander of the 125th TMMD Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Kav Rizal Wijaya, SH, MIP, emphasized that the support of community leaders is crucial to the success of the TMMD program. "We feel greatly helped by the involvement and spirit of mutual cooperation demonstrated by residents and traditional leaders, such as the Head of Lantangidung Traditional Village," he said.
The same thing was conveyed by the Head of SSK TMMD, First Lieutenant Cpl I Nyoman Prajana, who acknowledged the big role of local figures in motivating residents to work together and maintain the results of development.
Meanwhile, the Babinsa of Batuan Village, Koramil 1616-05/Sukawati, Sergeant Suparman, also continues to actively accompany TMMD activities and maintain communication between TNI personnel and the local community, ensuring that everything runs safely and smoothly.
